The Centre delivers a comprehensive program of research in population health risk assessment through the recruitment of highly-qualified personnel with expertise in health risk science and health risk policy analysis, who serve as the core faculty of the Centre. Faculty and staff are added to the Centre through project based funding derived from grants and contracts, as well as shared-cost arrangements with partners. Members of the Centre from various faculties at the University of Ottawa and adjunct members from external organizations work collaboratively to further enhance the Centre's research program.  The success of the McLaughlin Centre’s research group is derived from its transdisciplinary approaches and talented team.
