Risk Communication

The McLaughlin Centre has developed and maintains three environmental health websites, each examining health risks due to a specific environmental exposure (RF-COM-exposure to radiofrequency fields; EM-COM-exposure to endocrine disrupters and RISK-COM – general health risk communication).  RF-COM provides up-to-date, impartial and objective information about research on the health effects of wireless technology (www.rfcom.ca).  EM-COM (www.emcom.ca) provides information and commentary on the issue of endocrine disruption for members of the public, journalists, public-interest groups, and media commentators. RISK-COM (www.riskcom.ca ) communicates health risks and puts them in perspective.
